Allurion Gastric Balloon

A very easy procedure that takes about 15 minutes in the clinic, in which a capsule connected with a thin tube is swallowed. An X-Ray is taken to make sure the capsule is in place in the stomach, then the balloon is inflated with 550 ml of serum. After inflation, another X-Ray is taken then the tube is disconnected. The balloon stays in the stomach about 16 weeks, then empties and leaves the body naturally.
